Challenging Brass, 2024

Four brass bands are to meet in this year’s Challenging Brass, the annual ‘friendly’ brass band entertainment contest at Addlestone Community Centre! Richmond Brass Band will perform with Pangbourne Band (conducted by Stewart Lewins), Staines Lammas Band (Tariq Ahmed) and Yiewsley & West Drayton Band (Chris Cole).
Each of the four participating bands will perform a half-hour ‘entertainment’ programme of its own choice except that the set test march, ‘The West Riding’, chosen by this year’s distinguished adjudicator, Lieut.-Col. (Rtd) Dr Nick Grace OBE, must be included.
