Our Composition Competition has now closed, many thanks to all the composers who submitted entries and to LBRUT for supporting us through the Richmond Climate Action Microgrants scheme.
Judging will take place on 24th November and we’re excited to announce the composer Dr Liz Lane will be joining the adjudication panel to help us choose the winning entry.
Liz is Composer in Association with the Grimethorpe Colliery Band and Composer in Residence with Lydbrook Band in the Forest of Dean. Her music has been performed throughout the UK and abroad, including Europe, USA and Japan, and in venues such as the Royal Albert Hall, Symphony Hall Birmingham, Fairfield Halls Croydon, Barcelona Cathedral, Wales Millennium Centre and even under the wings of Concorde at Aerospace Bristol.
